Kootenay Tallow Bar began as a family journey.
For years, we've taken daily walks through the forest, learning to recognize the plants and trees growing all around us. Bit by bit, we’ve discovered their traditional uses - their quiet power to soothe, to heal, to restore.
This apothecary is a window into that world.
Every botanical we use is chosen with care, often wildcrafted on our hikes. Yarrow, pine resin, wild violets, Douglas fir… nature’s medicine, gathered by hand and blended with the nourishing strength of local tallow to create simple, natural skin remedies.
